MM 5.2 w/SIP - outbound faxing

Now that MM 5.2 w/SIP integration supports FAX, how does MM hand off an outbound fax to the switch and how does the switch know what extension to use to go off-hook and send out the fax?

it uses the SIP trunk group as the outbound.
