Does someone have the procedure or a link to a document that shows how to see which subscriber’s mailboxes are full in MM? I am drawing a blank on this.
Thanks for your help. I have one test MB that is full and just tried to leave a message. The server event log on the MSS at present is not displaying any events past 12:30am local time. I tried to telnet to the MSS server to see the admin.log but I get a message access to the server is only permitted from the console or web. Unfortunately, even logging in as craft on the console takes me right into the web admin page. Am I approaching this wrong?
This probably doesn't help much, but we have been having the same difficulty in our MM 5.1 system. Unlike the old Audix systems, we see no LFMB events or anything like that in the server events log when we have done testing on full mailboxes. We also see nothing in the subscriber activity when the message is rejected due to a full mailbox.
I found out two things from Avaya; however both appear to be somewhat less than encouraging. The first is from their support website. "The “Mailbox Full” event is currently not logged to the Admin log available on the MSS. Subscribers will continue to be notified by the TUI however. (wi00354755)"
Avaya Modular Messaging 5.2 – Known Issues (Single Server Administrators and Installers) -
The second is from Avaya MM Engineer "We can't see a list of the subscribers that have the mailbox full, but we can go to the MSS web interface -> Report tab and select messaging measurements. This will open a console, from there you can run commands (such as list measurement>subscriber>MB number)..."
Unfortunately, you can only report on one mailbox at a time (at least I couldn’t figure out how to enter multiple mb’s) and the report doesn’t say anything about the subscriber limit being reached or even total space available. You look at Mailbox Space Used & Mailbox Space Allowed, if they match, the MB is full. Not a viable solution for sites with large databases.
