MM 3.0 back up ? 2

Does the nightly auto back up for the Merlin Messaging 3.0 save everything on the 6 port card or somewhere on the board itself?

there is no nightly backup on mm 3.0 unless you do it nightly. and it backs up to the pc card

I thought there was a complete system back up that took place like Sunday morning, but you could change it?
By your answer it looks like I will need to have more than just the "license port card" installed. Correct?

Are you talking about the Back Up that you set in SPM under SYSTEM > Backup > Auto Back UP ????

I'm looking for info on the back up in the Merlin Messaging, not the Magix SPM auto back up. Does the MM has some kind of "auto" back up built in?

The Merlin Messaging does NOT do any type of automatic backup. It DOES however, do s restart every morning at 2am, which you can change in case that conflicts with other normal activity. You can do a manual backup of the mailbox assignments and the auto attendant info onto the port license card, which will take the system down while it happens (from 5 to 40 minutes, depending on how elaborate the system is)
