MLX phone doesn't ring when Headset Status is on

I have an MLX-20L that doesn't ring when the Headset Status button is turned on (enabling headset operation.) When turned off, the phone rings correctly.

In Extension Programming, when I select Personal Ringing, I cannot hear any of the Ring patterns (#1-8) if the Headset Status button was on before entering programming mode. If I turn off the headset and then enter programming mode, I can hear the sample ring patterns.

Is this a bug or a feature?

On our non-20l sets, the ringer volume is automatically lowered when the headset status button is pressed, but it is not eliminated. Maybe you need to turn the volume up? We've had the same (lowered volume, but not 'off') on 10d, 16dp, and 28d's...

Check the status of the button the ringing is coming in on. If it is "-N" it won't ring. Set it to "-I"
