MLX LED's in Magix System not working

I have 2 MLX016 cards doing exactly the same thing - the LED's on the MLX phones work only if you touch the button to dial out or answer a call. When you hang up the phone, the LED's go out. This is true on all ports on both phones. I tried a new power supply and get the same thing.
The 016 cards work just fine in the old Legend system.
The LCD display functions normally on both systems all the time also.
Anyone seen this ?

Be sure to renumber the boards when installing new cards, other than that, there may be a firmware problem causing a conflict between boards and MAgix software, but not likely. And by the way, the MLX phones are ISDN (4 wire) and the Magix TDL are two wire phones.
