MLX-20 Off-hook Lights 1

I'm have problems with a MLX-20L telephone where other stations showing that it has gone off hook. The telephone is not being used and the handset is in the cradle. I tried unplugging the MLX-20L, restarted the Merlin Legend and sent the phone out for repairs. I guess I could try moving this telephone to another port. This is a intermittent problem. Has anyone seen this problem and could give me some advice?

Can other stations call the phone?
"off hook" will show if the Do Not Disturb button has been pressed.
I don't know if you can press the DND button, the remove the button and still be stuck in DND mode.

I'll try that right now to see, hold on......You can put the button on and set it then remove the button, when I do this I see DND on the display. If it was in DND you would see the Do Not Disturb message on the phone and from anyone that calls you. I would check the wiring to the set. and swap phones with one that works to see if the problem moves with the phone or not.

Yes other stations can call and the telephone functions are normal. I do not have a Do Not Distrurb on the phone. The wiring looks OK.

Try pressing Feature 47...if DND was enabled and the button was deleted...or if someone was playing with the phone and pressed Feature 47...it would show busy.
