MLX-10D--turn off intercom?

Is there any way to turn off the intercom-speaker on the MLX-10D multiline set completely? It is on a mixed Legend and Merlin II system. Yes, I can turn down the volume, but I can't turn it off completely. I don't need to hear the intercom messages from the office.

What is the page group normally?

Isn't there a feature code that can be used at a single phone?

The default page all fac is 799. You cannot remove members from this group. You could also change your sys-acc voice button to a sys-acc ring button.

At you own phone, dial FEATURE 00, then press any of you System Access keys.

On the LCD Menu, press List, Find, More, TUV, Voice Ann, Receive, Off, Enter

Dial FEATURE *00

This will prevent your extension from receiving SA-Voice calls, they will always ring.

As far as the all call paging group (799 by default), you can't remove an individual station, but you can renumber the all page group if you want to prevent others from using it.

The one solution that works for me is putting the phone in my desk drawer! or I cover it with a pillow.

what release level is your Legend/Magix? I believe that as of R7 Legend, I don't think it was prior to that, you can disable voice announce on a receiving phone by going into program mode on the set, pressing any SA button and dialing **10 to disable (turn off) and *10 to enable (turn on). I know that is the correct feature code....what I'm unsure of is the release level that this was 1st available. I am pretty sure it was R7, though.

Your right GoKings. You can have enable or disable recieve on any phone. The R7 also gives you the option to enable voice announce on Idle.
