MlX-10D On and Off

I have about 40 phones on our phone system here some analog and some digital I one MLX -10D that has been acting up lately. Every once in a while it will just die. No lights or any thing. It usally will make a noise before. After a while it will come back on. and eveything will be fine.

Could there be a bad port?

There is a documented fix for the problem of the MLX sets
dying. The membrane has to be replaced. They can be purchased from 3rd party sellers.The unit sell for about
$23.00 ea.
