MLX 10D Message Light

I have a MLX 10D which I cannot get the message light to turn off. It does not currently have a mailbox assigned to it, and it will not let me delete the messages when I go thru the menu on the extension.

Rather than deleting messaged that don't exist - just use the feature code to turn off the message light. You may want to double-check your extension print-out to make sure that this extension is not somehow listed in the voice mail calling group. One other thing to try is to disconnect the phone for a minute and then plug it back in - to see if it resets the light. Otherwise - you may have a defective phone. Try swapping the phone from a different extension - to see if the message light also turns on.

Also, You would want to (at the MLX 10D) press MENU > MESSAGES > And when you see that you have some press >DELETE.

If it shows you do not have any, then that's a whole different deal.....
