Hi guys , anyone heard of this one?
Stack of two 470,s , one gig module in each & MLT back to 8600. Loss of pings between servers on the same subnet in this stack. Drop one leg of dual nics in server & pings pickup.
MLT is tagged .
If drop MLT ,problem seems to disapear.
Using BOSS3038.img & 3005_diag.bin.
Thanks in anticipation

Is there a MLT to the server ?

Is there som problem to ping the stack ?

No , there is not a problem pinging the stack & the servers are using team nics.
8600 uses 3.2.2.2 firmware & 470,s use BOSS3038.
Thanks

This is an MLT issue. The MLT algorythm loads up the links based on a hash of source and destination macs and all sorts of stuff. Bring up the MLT, and start a ping...then pull off one MLT leg. See if the pings come back. Then, put both back in, and remove the other one. If you get no pings coming back when only one leg is in, that leg of the MLT has an issue. Try either a different port or check physical layer. Autonegotiation could also cause you some grief, so make sure duplexing is the same on both legs and at both ends.
