MLS12D vs. MLS18D

I'm staring at an MLS12D and an MLS 18D. Can anyone tell me the dirrerence here? These look exactly alike.

The MLS-18D has 18 buttons with lights counting the intercom buttons. The MLS-12D has the same number of buttons, but only 12 have lights.

Thanks for the catch. Is there a way to turn on the display backlightng on the MLS12D? The 18's light up.

mls 12 dosnt have the backlight ..besides the extra lights you also get a AUX port on the bottom
