Afternoon

We have a CS1000E running release 6.0
Call Pilot 5.0
Contact Centre 6.0 (CCMS/CCMA co-res, CCT & CCMM)

We are due to have a call recorder system installed within our network to cover calls running through our contact centre - the agents are fed via our CS1000e and use i2004 IP Handsets.

We plan to utilise DMS - Duplicate Media Streaming in providing the voice streams to the call recorder. We have covered off the pre-requesites that the installer requires for recorder install - Agent handsets have CLS ICRA, Sufficient AST ISMs, etc.

However one of the pre-requesites refers to MLS being enabled - the call recording system requires the MLS server IP Address and Port.

I have been in touch with our CS1000e and CC6 maintainer (BT) and they have specified that MLS is 'available and ready to be used for the call recorder'. They have specified that the MLS server IP Address is the ELAN IP Address of our CCMS server and should use port 3000.

Our recorder installer has carried out some remote configuration and have advised they can't see the MLS correctly.

I'm loathe to get our CS1000e/CC6 maintainer involved if we can avoid it as they will charge on a daily rate but I have had no dealings with MLS so don't even know where to start fault finding.

Any ideas/advise/guidance would be appreciated.

Hmm...strange...two applications are using the same port 3000!!!...because CCT is using the same port, 3000, to connect to CCMS.
