I am having issues with a MLM 007. The calls were going to voicemail after ringing the extension 4 times. (No Issue there) once the call went into the VM it took 6 rings before the greeting answered. I then set the ports on the VM to no delay. Now after 4 rings the caller hears the greeting. The issue is now the calls coming into the system are going straight to VM. They should go to the operator first.

Well, It's not the MLM-007.

It's the way you have Calls being directed in the system.

If you have a late enough release of LEGEND, here's how we usually do that:

Assign your lines to an UN-USED Calling Group. (Say 771)

Set OVERFLOW for 771 to go to your VOICE MAIL Calling Group.

Also, in setting OVERFLOW, set the NUMBER to 99 and the TIME to 20 seconds (you may want to adjust that later).

Now, create a Mailbox in the MLM-007 for 771, and give it AUTO ATTENDANT Class of service.

You need to unassign the line/pool from the voice mail calling group, and assign them to a different calling group instead. Then overflow that group to voice mail, and make a mailbox with a COS to direct it to the auto attendant.

Looks like we're both typing this morning! MM, I don't see anyting that you missed, in fact you gave a lot more detail in your answer.
