MLM 007 Mail Access Hyper Terminal

I have a MLM 007 Mail. I can't access it with my hyper terminal. I have it set correctly but do I have to put the serial number in somewhere to access it? How does it connect? VT100 or auto detect? I know the unit is good and it is accessible.

Hyperterminal with settings of 1200 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop, no parity, xon/xoff protocol but I have nowhere written down what terminal emulation so Auto is probably OK.

VT100 is fine. When you try to login - use the system administrator's mailbox password.
