Have an MLM adapter that is acting wierd. Instead of power cycling the entire switch, is there a key sequence similar to the #989reset for Partner mail?

Better, there is a little hole in which you can place a toothpick and it will reset ONLY the VM.

It is identified as "VM RESET".

Melinman, sounds good but I am remote. I would be lucky if the site could tell me what type of system it is. For example, this site called the help desk and said their telephone system was an mlx20l. Can I reset the adapter with WINspm?

You should be able to do a reset restore from maintenance in Wspm.

I agree... (It is that I was tied up all day and wasn't able to answer in a timely manner...)

Would anyone like to give a Crusty Old Telephone person lessons in how to put on R&45 Ends????

What do you want to know, Strip, position wires for crimping, 568B is ATT standard....I always cut the wires even measuring with my index finger(the width), slide into RJ45 plug and crimp.

568B is(looking at plug tab down starting on the left)

Actually, I knew that, I'm afraid it wasn't in the code but in the CRIMP!
