Working on making an MLC (Multiline Client) App working on an Android phone.
What's not clear from the manual is the following:

- Will it work with SV8500 S8?
- Does it work like a Standard SIP terminal (requiring a Standard SIP license), or like an DT700/DT800 terminal requiring a different license. I have both licenses available.
- Is it programmed as a 3rd party SIP terminal (S167 - SIP handler controlled SIP terminal)?
- In the client app itself, when I'm setting up an account, what IP address of the phone system should I put in? Floating address of LAN1 or IP Address 2 (ACT)?
- The app is also asking for some activation code. Where do I get that?

Thank you Belevedere. I made it work on the SV8500. NEC doesn't sell license for it for the SV8500 but looks like my existing licenses covered it somehow.

I don't know if anybody has played around with this thing or using it actively, but I wasn't able to change (the very annoying) default ringtone.
