I have menu node 3200 setup with option 1 going to mailbox 3208 (type extension). 3208 is a multicall key on 2 phones. When option 1 is pressed it rings the phones as expected and then ends up in mailbox 3208.
Calls come in on PRI with a DID pointed to 3200.
Customer has requested when option 1 is pressed and not answered that the calling party hear a message that no one is available and to call back later, then have them routed back to the menu node (3200) greeting. They do not want the caller to leave any messages when option 1 is chosen.
I have tried different mailbox types for 3208, but never get the results needed above.

Best you can do using Embedded would be to make mailbox 3208 a Menu Node with the option to press 1 to return to the previous menu.

If you want it to work "Exactly" as you've stated you will need to setup an ACD Path, Phantom Agent Group, Recorded announcement, and interflow back to 3200.
