ML530, Smart 3200 and 72Gb hdds

Hi

I have an ML530 with a Smart Array 3200 controller (for NW3 compatibility) and have recently added a second drive cage.

However, when inserting the disks after spinning up they switch straight to offline and are not available in ACU to create a second array. The ADU reports Error reading RIS copy from disk 0,1,2 etc.

I have updated the firmware of both the system and the controller with no effect.

Any ideas?!
