Hi all,
I want to install a B80 with a mksysb of an SP-Node.
My problem: the Sp-node has no access to a tape-device.
The mksysb-command creates a file on the CWS. Can i use this file to boot a new B80, or is there a possibility to
access the tape attached to the CWS.

Thanks
Schleife

A mksysb (on any disk) of an SP node has no bootable image on it. Therefore you cannot boot from it.

There is no functionality for remote tape access.

Bill.
