mksysb nim cloning fails

I was wondering if someone can help me. Up until last week, I was able to clone lpar's on our p5 system from our nim server using a spot + mksysb image from other servers.

Now when I attempt to do this, when the lpar boots up to the nim image, it fails on the message "missing image.template", and prohibits me from installing the mksysb image.

When I set the nim server to only use the spot + lpp_source, I can install the AIX image just fine onto the lpar.

The mksysb resource on the nim server is pointing to the mksysb file on the same nim server, including full path. I've tried different mksysb images from different servers (other lpars) but not go.

Anyone have any idea ? The only that changed last week was that I rebooted the actual nim server. After that, the mksysb resource has failed. When I ran the smitty nim_bosinst on the lpar that was to be imaged, I was selecting the mksysb plus the normal spot, and leaving everything else as default
