May 10, 2006 Thread starter #3 AIXtexas Technical User Feb 5, 2002 80 US I want to boot and and reload a server from a mksysb that is a file on the server instead of a tape. I used the below command: #!/bin/ksh host=`hostname` mksysb -i -X /usr/auto_mksysb/mksysb.$host Shane Upvote 0 Downvote

Like kHz said you have to use NIM to restore the mksysb.
