I am getting this error when running Peachtree 2003 on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server.

MKDE2060: Error reading the registry. Error Code: 2

I haven't been able to find any reference to this error message; and I have made sure my users have full rights to the btrieve registry keys.

Anyone have an idea? Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +

Why do user go into a panic when a NetWare server goes down, but accept it as normal when a Windows server goes down?

It's probably related to the old version of Btrieve that Peachtree still ships. Peacthree uses a version of Btrieve that is almost 7 years old. The version is v6.15 and that was never tested or supported on a Windows 2000 (or XP for that matter) machine. It's probably trying to read/write to the HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Btrieve Technologies registry key and doesn't have rights. Make sure that all users have rights to that registry key.
