Morning guys and gals. Question. I'm new to Avaya. Started on 1A2 and worked on probably every other name brand but new to Avaya. Loving it so far.
My question concerns being proactive in monitoring the system. I have a button on my sidecar with a Mj/Mn button. When it's lit I'll check my gateways, errors, alarms and then alarms on servers. Is there an easier way to check alarms or errors? We have a couple of CM's and Msg server. I actually setup ASA to check alarms and email me any new alarms every 15 minutes. Again trying to be proactive. It just seems you have to look in so many places for potential alarms. Is there an easier way?
Am I doing this wrong? This mornings alarm ended up being I believe a Trunk Card not in use in a Gateway which I'm looking to clean up such things and get any unused equipment removed. Thanks for any feedback.
