Does anyone know much about MiXML development?

It seems that it is available as an application server that acts as a broker between workstation HTTP messages converting the requests to/from XML from the 3300. But I also read that there is a MiXML API that I would assume could be access programatically and would communicate directly with the ICP (no need for the application server)?
From the logs on our 3300s it seems that OpsMan uses MiXML to connect, I would expect that a number of other Mitel services would do the same.

My research so far has turned up:
1) MiXML connects to port 7011/TCP on the ICP and uses SSL.
2) There seems to be an API available, which is not part of the Mitel Universal SDK.
3) There is a MiXML Developers Guide, and a sample demonstration/test tool.

Are the MiXML API, documentation & samples licensed/paid for or is it freely available (provided one has access to MiSN)?

Hi,

You must have registered to Misn programm to access mixml api...
Unfortunatly, this programm does not accept new candidats.
MITEL has choosen to devellop sds part and does not support anymore mixml...unfortunatly.

Now, it's about French users too !!!

Hi,

To follow up on the subject, there is a French company called NetVitesse, part of the Mitel Global Solutions Catalog and integrating this within their NvConnect programm.

MiXML access is "hidden" behind a secured, SOAP Business API.

MiXML support is still included in the 3300. However from a developer standpoint that stopped supporting it about 2 years ago and it is no longer included in the SDK. It would probably be unwise to develop for it as sometime in the future I'm sure the support will also be dropped from the 3300.
