I have an ATA 100 HD.

I've spotted a motherboard which takes my fancy as
it supports both ddr and ddr2, but it is listed as supporting

Storage Controller ATA-133, Serial ATA-150 (RAID)

will this MB work with my Drive (albeit presumablly at the
slower ATA rate of the two)?

many thanks.

Some motherboards have only one IDE Port it is better if you have two. You have to hook up both an optical Drive and a hard drive on the same port if the motherboard has only one IDE port.
