Can anybody verify for me if it is possible to mix same size, different spindle speed compaq scsi hard drives (in this case 10K and 15K rpm).Wether this is either on a scsi controller or on a Raid ctr.

Thanks

Not a problem. You can even mix Ultra2 and Ultra3. Compaq won't allow you to mix drives that aren't compatible (the old SCSI-3 drives don't fit in an Ultra2/3 cabinet and vice-versa). It also doesn't matter what if they are on a RAID controller or not.

Thanks jkallen.

Thats confirmed our groups burning thought for the day!

Jodon.
