I thought this was impossible but I have just seen it happen.
An HP Laserjet 4300 is happily printing 400 copies of a one page job. The job has finished spooling from the PC, and the printer is on a parallel connection.
Someone comes along and sends another job to the same printer - from the same PC.
The second job slots into the middle of the running job, and it may or may not all print "in a lump" before returning to the main job. Sometimes there will appear to be interleaving of pages from the two jobs.
As I said, I thought this was impossible, but if you have seen it before, please tell me so I know I'm not going mad. Even better - can you tell me how to stop it?
