I have a few questions regarding mixed IPO environments and the 500v2. thanks in advance for reading.
3 existing offices (2xIPOSOE, 1xIP406v2) connected via public line VPN and SCN, 1 new office coming online with a IP500v2. SCN plays best with everyone on the same release, but I don't think this is possible anymore with the addition of the 500v2. are my options then:
1)Create an IP trunk between the old offices and new with SCN disabled, and program short codes for extension dialing.
2)IP trunks riding on public VPN lines has been a mixed bag of quality as you'd expect. Are IPO to IPO SIP connections anymore reliable over NAT or even VPN, or is it best to rent SIP trunks from the same provider and use for inter-office calls.
3)Licensing the 500v2 for VoIP is a little more complicated than previous versions so I want to make sure what's needed.
a)700476021 - COMBO CARD BRI (includes 10 VCM channels)
b)202960 - LIC. SCN NETWORK START (one for each office if doing SCN?)
c)VCM licenses?
d)SIP licenses?
Regards
