Is there a way to apply multiple formats to a single field?

Example: I am concatenating several data objects (first, middle, last names, prefix, suffix, etc.) through a formula so they all appear as one field on the report. I'd like to make part of the field bold (i.e. last name only). Is this possible?

You can drop the fields into a text object and individually format each field within the text object.

Another alternative is using the HTML formatting, but I'd use the text object.
