MiVoice Office 470>69xx Phones>Firmware

Hi. I have a MiVo470 and several different types of phones for my lab. However, I cannot get the 69xx series phones to work properly. I've found release notes that indicate the phones are shipped with MiNet firmware by default (or at least the one that I have was) and must be upgraded to SIP firmware. I found the 6900 SIP firmware upgrade FAQ pdf. It states that I should consult my Call Manager specific contact for more information. Can someone please clarify that statement for me??

No idea about specific contact, but your statement is right - you have to change FW on 69xx SIP phones to work on 470. Don't use tftp on 470 - use your PC as tftp (eg. tftpd64...) and point phones to download FW from there

I forgot to update my thread. I found the firmware in Mitel's knowledge base. I did use a TFTP server on my PC to upgrade the firmware on my 69xx phones.
