Am putting up a new MiVoice Office SMBC for the first time. The Customer has ordered for 1xE1 trunk, 20xSIP Trunk to be connected to the PSTN/ITSP network via a Fibre Optic cable. I want to know what Media Converter or Switch could be suitable to connect these trunks to the Fibre Cable at the customer endpoint. The PSTN/ISTP has an SBC ( Session Border Controller) , do I need to connect the trunks to it ??
