Hi people.
Some help needed. Has anyone managed to make the above work?
We have a mitel 5000 with a Gigaset n510 set up as an extension.
All works ok until you try to transfer a call from the sip phone.

You can have the 2 calls, make a conference or swap between them ok but as soon as you try to pass the call from the sip phone to another extension (internally) the call gets cut off and if you then hang up the sip phone it starts calling you back like it was on hold. But if at that point you try to answer it cancells the call.

Strange yes??

I have tried changing all sorts of settings but it never does anything different.

Please Help!![bomb]

Someone has to learn how to do it!

Check the flag for Transfer to Connect allowed.

That was my first thought but You don't get that flag on a sip phone.

Someone has to learn how to do it!

disable call waiting on the handset
then answer call , press r to put it on hold
to blind transfer dial ext wait until it rings then r again

to consult call , wait until they answer
- if they dont want the call get them to hangup or hangup on the gigaset and call will recall
- if they do want the call press R to complete the transfer

NOTE: base MUST be set to NOT allow transfer on Hangup

On MIVB we normally assign 2nd line key as multicall of the DN

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
