I have client with a MiVoice Connect 19.2 system with the SIP appliance on VMWare. I need to connect a sip trunk using port 5070. (No, I can't change that. There's a reason)
1. Is it possible to change the SIP port for a single SIP trunk/line?
2. If not, I was considering using port translation on the firewall so when the Shoretel attempts to connect on 5060, the FW translates it to 5070. The same on the inbound traffic on 5070 -> 5060. Does anyone know of any reason that would be a problem?
3. If the simple port translation won't work I would have to use an SBC, can anyone suggest a good one that integrates well and/or isn't awful to support?
