I am working on our first installation of the MiVoice 250. There are 44 digital phones and 85 analog phones. There is a PRI with DID lines. The software is 6.3. I have built a Call Routing Table with all of the DID numbers in it. The customer answers calls live during the day and with an AA at night. The AA should delay answer during the day after about 5 rings. I am looking for the timer that controls the amount of rings that the AA answers. I have looked at system forward initiate, but that is system wide and affects all calls that transfer to VM. How do I set the amount of rings that the AA answers?

Do your incoming calls come in via a Hunt Group?

There are timers in the Hunt Group. Press F1 when in DB Programming to get more info on the parameters.

Right now I have it programmed so that the incoming calls go through the Call Routing table and just ring at the operator, ext. 1200.

OK,

I would create a Hunt Group with 1200 as a member. You can then control timers independently for each hunt group.
The recall position/timer will be the exit point of the hunt group if the call is not answered.
Again F1 is your friend.

Thanks. I had thought about a hunt group, but was trying to decide if it would be the best option. It sounds like it is if I want to control the timing and the destination.
