MiVO 470 Call Pick up

Hi, I need the ability to pick up calls ringing on operator console keys from other SIP/analog phones within earshot of the front desk. Is it possible to set up a call pick up code in the 470?

The 470 is running release 6.0.

I believe the pickup code is *86

You would need to pickup the operator user group, so *86 <UG>

If this works then create an abbreviated number with the code to make it easier for the client. e.g. 66 = *86860

Yes sir! I created an abbreviated dial 77 with the strings *860. This has enabled users to answer calls ringing on console keys. I had the users test and confirm that it works.

Thanks Sarond. Seems like you and I may be the only ones, so far, on this forum to programming the 470. I also started a thread in the Aastra forum but did not get any hits.

Glad you got it sorted.

Yes the A400 techs are not as active on the forums. There are a few, but not as many as actual Mitel techs.

They do have some features though, their private networking just works.
