TheMitelGuy states in this article, that a 6900 phone can be used, in stead of the USB headset.

because we still have issues with our setup, I'm interested how it works.
Technically and how the users like it.
(MiVBC hangs and usb does not always work to mention some of the issues.
off course, we did several clean installs of w10 and mivbc on our pc's)

BTW, is it correct that mivbc setups are rare, I mean lots of customer don't use them?

I dont think he was saying that you could do it , only asking whether anyone thought it was a good idea.

We dont have a lot of consoles , the ones we have seem to work ok .
biggest issues seem to be
- The limitations with transfer to IVR ( console cant be put on hold so cant be transfered by an IVR menu)
- having to use 1st alternative to rad hunt for delay ( stops an overflow from being set )
- console Inadvertantly putting tenancy on hold ( can be overcome by putting console into its own tenant)
- recalled calls when console is out of service going to 1st available logged in console ( in multi tenant environment- where tenants consoles need to call each other)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
