Hi,
Anyone know if there is a way to have the 69xx series phones cache the corporate contacts using the embedded LDAP server on MIVB?
I have tested this with embedded LDAP on MIVB and using external AD.
On the 69xx series phones when using the 'Contacts' application button, it seems to cache the contacts with external AD but not when using embedded LDAP on MIVB.
So when using the embedded LDAP on MIVB, you have to always search for the contacts.
Anyone know if there is a way to cache these contacts?

For completion sake -
I opened ticket with Mitel to confirm this and using embedded LDAP on MiVB the Contacts application on 69xx phones are just available on a search only basis - it will not cache the directory.
If you use an external LDAP server, then it will cache the contacts in the 69xx Contacts application for easy browsing.
