I'm running the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7 and 8.1 computers.

While working on Phone systems I notice that Firefox gets unresponsive or very slow to respond. Memory usage is extremely high. My laptop has 28GB ram and doesn't seem to get this issue as quickly as my desktop - Windows 7 with 8GB ram.
Laptop will start having issues when that instance of Firefox hits 6GB. The desktop will start having issues at 1.8GB.

Does anyone have a trick to share with this?

Hi,
I've had this issue since Firefox 66 I think it was. Thought it was my computer [bigsmile]
I switched to Chrome and its way faster. Problem is, Chrome doesnt work on V8 MiVBs; only MiVB V9 and above.
I found that IE on V8 MiVBs works better than Firefox because of that issue and I've been doing that ever since.
I've tried to uninstall and re-install Firefox, do a refresh of Firefox and also clear history/browsing history. Didnt seem to help so I just abandoned it until I had more time to look at it. Which hasnt happened yet.
I'm running on Windows 10 by the way.

Here is what I found of where things start to slow down tremendously - it's when you go into Users and Services Configuration. Up until then things work ok, but when you go there it just bogs down.

I have attributed it to something in the webserver of the MiVB - like a memory leak - but again, I don't know for sure.
If anyone knows anything further I would love to hear it too.
