Having installed Miva Synchro to download online orders to QuickBooks, i have had to make my shopping cart the sole sales channel. Since we have several price levels (wholesale, disributors etc...) i have had to work with "price groups" in Miva. Having played around with this for a while it would appear that if i do not want the prices for the different groups to appear on the Product List page, i will have to work off one product code per product when really we have a differnt code per product per group. This is fine, but how will Quickbooks know at what price i sold it? Really i need one code per product per group.
Is this the only way for me to do this or should i think about a different store per group

I don't follow you on the part:
"if i do not want the prices for the different groups to appear on the Product List page, i will have to work off one product code per product when really we have a differnt code per product per group"

The price that would appear to the customer is the price appropriate to them (after they login). They wouldn't see prices for other groups to which they do not belong.

I'm not a user of Miva Synchro, so I can't answer that specifically. However, the price at which a given customer at a specific moment in time is applied to a product is a function of several factors: their price group; whether they actually signed in first; any discount coupons applied (if you are using coupon modules); and any other discounts (for example, if you have quantity discount modules).

Knowing this, it is impossible for a program to look at the Products.dbf price and assume that is what customers received. You would have to look at OrdItems.dbf and OrdrChrg.dbf to arrive at the final figures.

It's lots of fun, let me tell you.
