Miva Merchant versus Monster Commerce 1

Hi,

I am currently using Miva Merchant and am quite happy with it, but as we are in the process of opening another store we were wondering how other shopping carts compare with it.

Monster Commerce looks pretty good, but has anyone had any experience with it?

I took a quick look. By looking at the demo screens, it looks like a product can only belong in one category, which would be harmful to my product lines. On the flip side, it could record a lot more information than Merchant.

The biggest drawback I can see is that you are forced to use them for hosting (or at least that is the impression given on their pricing page).
