Miva Basket Empty after adding items

Greetings, first off I'd like to say I'm a very frustrated vendor who does not have much website administration knowledge.

With that being said, my website allows you to add items to basket as it would seem, but when you click on view cart or view basket it says the basket is empty.

I believe we are using Miva 4.16. Any assistance on this matter would be appreciated. If you want a first hand account of the problem, check it out at

Its a cookie problem. Most recent versions of Internet Explorer default to NOT allowing cookies unless you have a privacy policy in place (enforced via compact privacy policy (CPP) headers that your server sends).

Because cookies aren't being stored, the system can't track the user from page to page. There is a module available that will add session IDs to every link to work around this.

But probably a better approach is to institute a privacy policy, and based on that policy have your Web host send CPP headers.
