This message really goes out to any vedors with avaya experience. A while back there was an awesome post regarding Mitel vs. Cisco & Resiliency. does anyone know how avaya compares to mitel in regards to resiliency. Any really cool features that mitel cant touch?

For resiliency you need to use the avaya multivantage
The S8730 server can be duplicated so when one fails the second one takes it over
Remote gateways can fallback to there own trunks when the connection to the main site fails

The ipphones can be told that when there is no dhcp server it keeps it's ipadres or look for a second dhcp server

I am not that experienced in both systems but i guess some one is :)
