Hello. In preparation for rolling out UC Advanced to our end users, we have setup test UC advanced users in our IT department as well as softphone users that all have NPUM Unified Messaging Advance (voicemail to email delivery). When a call is placed to voicemail the message delivery does not show the internal name or extension in the header as it does when you place a call to voicemail from any of our IP phones. It displays "unknown caller". How can we ensure that our name/extension information is displayed. Any thoughts?

Not sure if I understand. When a call is placed to the Nupoint that doesn't work are you saying that it is an external call coming in?

If so do you normally getting CLID incoming?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

My apologies for the confusion. I am saying that the header information identifying the caller that left the voicemail message when calling internally or externally from UC Advanced application is omitted. By the same token, external callers leaving a message also fails to deliver the caller ID or any useful header information. The trunks are PRI and caller ID is delivered inbound. Somehow this gets lost when it hits NuPoint and voicemail to email delivery (Adv. UM). I hope that helps to clear things up a bit. I have attached an example of the header information we receive as well as an example of what we are after. Thank you!
