Mitel Time of Day Routing (TOD)

Hi,

We would like to be able to lock all the mitel phones down to internal dialling after 1900 hours on work days (mon - fir) and on weekends. We have 3300s with v8.

I have noticed you have a COS & COR (day, night1 & night2) for each station. Where can I change those times and how? I've been looking at "Day & Time Zone Assignment" but can't understand the form? I've looked at the help file on the 3300 but its not very helpful. I would prefer a step by step guide.

You can either manuallu put the system into Day/night1/night2 service via the phone or put in a maintanence command to do it atuomatically. The auto way is a little restrictive in that you can only programe day night 1 and night 2 once and this will work for all 7 seven days. So for you this would be fine.

Have you got different COR set up in station service assignment for the extensions? And then set up the COR group which is then assigned to the trunks? If not make sure that the COR group number that is assigned to the trunks has the COR number used in the Station Service Assignment for Night1 and night 2 in it's "restricted" field of that group.

Assuming you have a COR assignment already setup to retrict phones.

1 - Assign restricted cor in Station Service Assignment Form to all sets for Night 1 (or Night2 if you Prefer)

2 - Use Maint Command "Programmed Service" to activate Night Service automatically at end of Day. Do not automatically set Day service as this will activate on weekends. For Day Service use the console or allow trained users to use "Dialed Night Service Switching". (Credit to M1TEL for this solution)

3 - You will need to setup Verified Account codes to allow authorized users to override the restrictions after hours.
