Hi there,
I just want to share that I manage to make the Mitel TAPI driver work on Windows 7 (32 bit, does not work on 64 bit). Yes, the TAPI that work without any Mital/OIG server.
I have use Your Assistant version 3.0.9 setup to install the TAPI driver, but this does not work by default on Windows 7 (like it was used to work on Windows XP). It was not a simple task, and I cannot share the complete solution, because the company I work for does not allow me too, but don't give up, it can work on Windows 7. Hint: Registry.
Now Your Assistant work in lite mode (free), and also any CRM or Outlook can use the Mitel Tapi without a server infrastructure.
Im not sure why Mitel have abandon the TAPI drivers, they are still alot usefull even in 2014.
