Ok... I put a request into Mitel's web-site for a partner to call me to open a dialog between myself and a Mitel system provider. Have not heard anything yet but I have this one question that I really want to get answered. I am somewhat familiar with Cisco's CallManager and it's capability for centralized call management along with SRST (survivable remote site telephony) should the connectivity to the CallManager server(s) fail.

So my question is basically this. Does Mitel's IP Telephony provide for centralized management and "SRST" like functionality?

Hiya

The short (and generalised) answer is yes to both questions but probably requires a great deal more explanation...

I work for a Mitel Premier Partner and would be happy to discuss - if you're available, drop me a line to james.banks@cvd 'dot' plc 'dot' uk.

Best Regards

James

Appreciate the offer James; however, my meeting with my new Hp switch vendor turned out to be very informative as I found out they they are also Mitel partners as well. I have a call into one of their voice engineers for a conference call tomorrow.

Thanks anyway.
