mitel sx2000 system level passwords!

I have afew sx2000 sites for which we do not have the system level passwords. Is there any way of changing it without doing data restores ? Any help would be apprciated!

Actually yes. Do you have physical access to the box? Do you have a backup? Is it acceptable to have some downtime while you vandalize the system? I can do it for ICP3300 and I assume that sx2000 should not be completely different. I can extract some stuff from your backup file.

Actually the SX2000 backup files ARE different from the 3300ICP. The recommended way to get the system-level passwords is to contact Mitel, there's some paperwork involved and a small charge, but they can reset the password for you.
