I bought a box of various goodies from a fellow who had some mitel and computer stuff. In the box i found an unopened sysid chip.

There is no MOSS code for it however, so is the thing useless, or is there a "basic" level of functionality without a code?

Thanks!

Useless IMO

Useless come on I am sure there are millions of uses just none that involve running a SX200.

Not to extend a theme beyond its natural course but LoopyLou is correct.

I can envision Arts and Crafts applications for example.

How about encasing it in Lucite and displying it in a museum labeled "BEST 6th CENTURY ELECTRONICS"?

Jewlery, there is even a hole already there. :)

I can see it now....some kid has a sysid riveted to his chin.

They would make interesting ear rings.

I'll try that. Bet the wife would love some for her anniversary.

Only if you want a shovel to the back of the head.

I hope the comments above haven't made you throw it out. I'd like to purchase it, if possible. Thanks.

Why would you buy it? You won't be able to activate it with Mitel and most likely you won't be able to retrieve any licensing.

I guess you took my jewlery comment to heart.

Forget the earring idea. I made a pair, gave them to her and her head exploded. Got any other ideas?

sponge or squeegee would be best to clear up the mess.
