I have a customer with a superconsole 1000 who wants to put a headset on the phone so they can walk around and answer calls. This cannot be done because they need a handset lifter and would have to come back to the console to hit the answer button. So I have the option of setting night 1 to another phone with the ability to use the headset. Problem is night 1 is used at night to send the calls to the front desk of the other Inn that is manned at night. Night 2 sends the calls to a customer service group that takes reservations. So both my night options are used. Is there a way to call forward the superconsole to another extension. I am sure I know the answer already, but I am looking for anyway around this. Because the customer does not want to take no for an answer.

Thanks

Would you mind listing the system type and software release?

With the risk of wasting my time, I am going to assume that you have some kind of SX-200 system. If that is the case, then I would suggest programming a sub-attendant phone to have the same LDN appearances as the console.

If you did not take enough time to get it right the first time...

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Ask them if they will pay you for your time regardless of whether you are successful or not.

Then tell them you will not take no for an answer.

Works for me.

Yes it is a SX-200icp MX controller with the latest software.

So would a sub-attendant be able to mirror the console, and handle the dial 0 and priority 0 from guest rooms?

Absolutely.

A sub-Attendant would be an ideal solution. You will require a 5340 or 5330 set I believe so you will require Rel 4 software and a 512 flash or internal harddrive.
