So, Im sorry if this has been asked 100x I searched and looked through the forms for about 30 minutes before writing this.

PLS HELP.
I need to add/update (i can use an old ext) an ext to ring to an outside line (hotel with an external sales rep that we need to transfer calls to their outside of the hotel phone number)

I have read the manual about 30 times, and tried the function > att function > abbr dial > enter the ext # (used an existing one and a new one) > entered the outside number. The console accepts it, and when i go back and look at that ext number it shows the outside phone number, however when i try to dial it the ext says wrong number. Can even do this from a console or am i just driving myself insane for no reason?

You need to know the abbreviated dial feature access code (speed dial feature). For instance POUND (#) and then the 3 digit code. Also include the leading 9 or 8.

Do you have another working speed dial that you can test. How exactly do you dial it?
